Clutter is low stagnant energy that is keeping you stuck from enjoying your true potential. Think about it. Where does clutter come from. FEAR. Fear of letting go of something you might need in the future. Like when the universe is not providing you with enough.
The native Americans were a nomadic people. They couldn’t possibly take all their stuff on horseback. They just left it for the next tribe, knowing they would have everything they needed. They traveled light and the Universe provided.
I know that during the great depression, people hoarded. My grandmother was a product of that era. When she passed we found every gift we ever gave her still in it’s original box being saved for a rainy day.
Stop worrying. Let go. Recycle. Contribute to Goodwill. When you let go the Universe replenishes your escrow account. I surrender my wardrobe every season. The Verde Valley Women’s Shelter really helps women take back their power and dress themselves to look like their goddess self. You can make that difference in a life less fortunate.
My son-in-law owns a storage facility. He says it unbelievable what people pay every month to store junk. They end up paying more than they could buy new stuff for. It is scarcity consciousness. How much of your stuff do you get to take with you when you die? It’s all just on loan.
There is something freeing about letting go of stuff. In the Buddhist tradition it’s about not having attachment. You can have stuff. Just don’t be attached to letting it go. Your stuff will take you down with it. Namaste, Anita D.
