We remain within the eclipse portal, moving between the Leo Solar Eclipse of August 12 and the Pisces Lunar Eclipse arriving on August 27.
I have been sitting quietly with last week’s eclipse. The Leo Solar Eclipse on the South Node, the Tail of the Dragon, carried the familiar tones of release, completion, and endings. At times, it marks literal departures from this world. This year it became deeply personal for me as I said goodbye to two precious souls.
Eclipses are benchmarks that note how life moves in cycles far larger than what we can hold in the mind. Now the story turns.
As we move toward the Pisces Lunar Eclipse, we are feeding the Head of the Dragon. The North Node speaks in the language of growth, destiny, and the future pulling itself through us. The South Node releases. The North Node draws us forward.
This eclipse lands at 4° Pisces, a degree tied to the royal fixed star Fomalhaut, one of the four Royal Stars of Persia. Fomalhaut is associated with spiritual vision, purity of purpose, the Archangel Gabriel, and in Christian symbolism, St. John the Beloved.
Purity of purpose. I keep returning to those words.
Pisces is the great ocean. Dreams, prayer, imagination, intuition, compassion, mysticism, surrender, and the unseen currents that move beneath ordinary life. During this eclipse portal, pay attention to what arrives through dreams, symbols, synchronicities, chance encounters, music, prayer, meditation, and the quiet voice beneath the noise.

The week begins with the Sun entering Virgo on Sunday. After Leo’s fire of creativity and self expression, Virgo arrives with her broom, her notebook, her steady attention. Leo asks what wants to shine through us. Virgo asks how we will tend it.
On Tuesday, Mercury enters Virgo, one of its ruling signs. The mind sharpens. It becomes more observant, more precise, more willing to sort what has been scattered. Patterns begin to reveal themselves. What once felt like noise starts to organize into something usable.

What begins as disruption often becomes liberation. An interruption just may reveal itself as a necessary turning. Under a Pisces eclipse, intuition may prove as steady as logic, sometimes even more so!
As I sit with the symbolism of this week, I keep returning to dragons. One eclipse released through the Tail. This one feeds the Head.
As one chapter closes, the ink another penning the next begins to flow. Pisces work is really simple when we trust what rises from the deeper waters. Our dream knows where it is going long before the next chapter is written.
