Bats in the Belfry & the Fertile Darkness | All Saints’ Week
Well, honey, there may still be a few bats flapping around the belfry and a few more skeletons waiting to tumble out of the closet this All Saints’ Day. Halloween has come and gone, but the heavens are still stirring the cauldron. Venus and Mercury are both retrograde, Pluto is out of bounds doing his monster mash on the graveyard shift, and that Mystic Rectangle we’ve been watching is still weaving its celestial threads.
Just to make things more interesting, the grave diggers have been given an extra hour! Most of the United States turns the clocks back Sunday morning as daylight saving time ends. Here in Arizona, where I’m writing, we leave our clocks alone. Either way, the evenings are growing darker, and the season of turning inward is upon us.
We collect a remarkable number of bumps and bruises just trying to live a human life. We fall in love, trust people, make promises, raise families, build friendships, and hope to rustle up a little love and happiness along the way. Sometimes we disappoint one another. Sometimes the people we love wound us, and sometimes we carry the deepest hurts from the ways we’ve judged ourselves.
It ain’t always easy being human.
That’s what makes this week’s Mystic Rectangle so interesting. Venus retrograde in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries, touching the old wounds we carry around love, rejection, independence, and belonging. Jupiter in Leo, traveling near the South Node, faces the North Node in Aquarius. Together, these planets and points form a pattern of oppositions connected by supportive trines and sextiles, with Venus and Jupiter perfecting one of those lovely connections on Wednesday.
Venus in Libra wants connection, affection, and a fair exchange of love. Chiron in Aries remembers the times we felt unwanted, overlooked, or somehow insufficient. Jupiter in Leo brings a generous heart, although his proximity to the South Node may also magnify our pride and our attachment to being appreciated. The North Node in Aquarius encourages us to see beyond our personal version of the story.
Consider the old friend who let you down, the partner who struggled to give you what you needed, or the family member who never quite understood you. We may have spent years carrying the hurt, rehearsing the conversation, or wondering what we could have done differently. This celestial geometry offers an opportunity to see the whole complicated human being behind the injury, including ourselves.
Sometimes that understanding is where forgiveness begins. We can extend grace to someone whose choices hurt us while honoring the boundaries we’ve learned to value. We can also forgive ourselves for the ways we tried, stumbled, and sometimes made a glorious mess of things while looking for love.
Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo brings a practical assignment. We’ve had the revelations of the Taurus Full Moon, and now it’s time to decide what we’re going to do with them. Leo has plenty of heart, but this lunar phase calls for rolling up our sleeves. A quincunx between the Sun in Scorpio and Saturn in Aries adds a little discomfort to the day, as though something needs adjusting before we can move forward. There may be a conversation to finish, a responsibility to address, or an old expectation we’re finally ready to release. We can begin with something small and manageable.
Tuesday brings the Moon in Virgo square Uranus in Gemini, and our nerves could be jangling while our eyes glaze over as the neighbor launches into another lengthy account of her latest drama. Virgo would like to get something useful accomplished, while Uranus in Gemini seems determined to keep the phone ringing, the messages arriving, and everybody talking at once. Even the most spiritually evolved among us has a limit to how much emotional excavation we can manage before lunch! Give yourself permission to step away from the noise, take a walk, or spend an afternoon doing something wonderfully ordinary.
Wednesday brings a lovely sextile between retrograde Venus at 24°43′ Libra and Jupiter at 24°43′ Leo. This is one of the sweeter aspects of the week, opening the possibility of a warm reunion, a generous gesture, or a conversation that restores a little faith in human nature. Someone may reach out after a misunderstanding, or we may recognize how much love was present in a situation that also caused us pain. The supportive connection between Venus and Jupiter suggests that a modest act of kindness could open the door to a different understanding.
That same day, the Sun meets retrograde Mercury at 12°10′ Scorpio. Mercury disappears into the Sun’s brilliance, reaching the heart of his retrograde journey. Scorpio has been digging through the old files, uncovering secrets, revisiting conversations, and asking what lies beneath the stories we’ve told ourselves. This conjunction can bring a moment of clarity about something we’ve been struggling to understand. A memory may suddenly make sense. We might recognize our own part in a disagreement or discover that the truth is considerably more complicated than we imagined.
The week’s astrology may feel quieter than some of October’s more explosive configurations, although there’s a tender quality running beneath it. Old sadness can surface when we finally have enough space to feel it. Grief over a relationship, a person we’ve lost, an opportunity that passed us by, or even an earlier version of ourselves may ask for a little attention.
This is a beautiful week to get quiet, light a candle, and let your sorrows fall to the ground.
The ancient understanding of composting feels especially appropriate now. Leaves fall, flowers wither, and the garden grows still. Beneath the surface, all that spent material begins its slow transformation into nourishment for another season. The same mystery lives within us. Our disappointments, losses, and painful lessons can become the substance from which greater compassion and wisdom grow.
Forgiveness may arrive as a conversation, a change of heart, or the quiet realization that we’re ready to lay something down. Sometimes the person who most needs our tenderness is the younger self who did the best she could with what she knew at the time.
As the days shorten and the earth prepares for winter, we can trust that something is taking shape beneath the surface, even while its form remains hidden.
There’s fertile soil in this darkness, my fellow travelers beneath this ensouled cosmos. Somewhere deep within it, the seeds of a future are waiting for their season.

Aries (March 21-April 19) Weekly Horoscope: for Aries & Aries Rising
Your IRL Week:
Aries, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo lights up your fifth house of romance, children, and creativity, asking you to take another look at what brings you happiness. Maybe you’ve been so busy managing everybody else’s needs that the painting remains unfinished, the dinner date keeps getting postponed, or the grandchildren are wondering when you’re going to make good on that promised adventure. The waning Moon is asking you to clear a little space for what matters. With the Sun in Scorpio quincunx Saturn in your sign, you may also feel the weight of responsibilities you’ve taken on. There’s a difference between being dependable and making yourself responsible for everyone else’s happiness.
The Mystic Rectangle continues to weave together some important lessons about love. Retrograde Venus in Libra occupies your seventh house of partnership, opposite Chiron in Aries and your first house of identity. An old relationship wound may resurface, particularly around feeling chosen, appreciated, or free to be yourself. Perhaps you’ve been waiting for a partner to take the initiative, or you’re still carrying hurt from someone who made you feel you had to prove your worth. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your fifth house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your eleventh house of friendship and community. This combination asks whether your desire for affection and recognition has sometimes led you to overlook the love already present in your life.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile could bring a welcome bit of sweetness to your relationships. A partner may make a thoughtful gesture, an old friend might reach out, or someone could suggest doing something together that you’ve been longing to enjoy. That same day, the Sun meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your eighth house of shared finances, intimacy, and trust. A conversation about money, emotional expectations, or a previous misunderstanding could suddenly make more sense. Perhaps someone had their own fears operating beneath the surface, or you recognize how an earlier disappointment has influenced the way you respond to love today. Understanding can open the door to forgiveness while allowing you to honor what you need.
Tuesday’s Virgo Moon square Uranus in Gemini may stir a little chaos between your sixth house of daily responsibilities and third house of communication. An unexpected appointment, a confusing message, or somebody changing plans at the last minute could throw your schedule into a tizzy. Before volunteering to straighten out everybody’s mess, consider what actually belongs on your plate. As the week unfolds, Samhain’s atmosphere of remembrance may bring a tender awareness of people you’ve loved and lost. Light a candle, put your hands into the earth, or spend an afternoon doing something that makes you feel alive. There’s plenty of life left to enjoy, Aries, and some of it is waiting for your attention right now.
IRL Tip:
Plan one enjoyable activity with someone you love, and have a straightforward conversation about a shared financial or emotional expectation.
Self-Care Theme:
Allowing yourself to receive love without having to earn every bit of it.
Kind Deed:
Invite someone who’s been carrying a heavy responsibility to join you for something fun. A little laughter could be a wonderful gift.

Taurus (April 20-May 20) Weekly Horoscope: for Taurus & Taurus Rising
Your IRL Week:
Well, Taurus, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo occupies your fourth house of home and family, and you may be ready to bring a little order back to the nest after Halloween’s festivities. Perhaps the decorations need putting away, relatives have overstayed their welcome, or the kitchen looks like a coven of witches held a potluck and left you with the dishes. The Sun in Scorpio occupies your seventh house of partnership, while a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your twelfth house suggests that you’ve been quietly carrying more than you realize. Your responsibilities to others are important, but so is your peace of mind. This may be a good week to reclaim a little breathing room.
Your ruler Venus is retrograde in Libra and your sixth house of work, health, and everyday routines, opposite Chiron in Aries and your twelfth house. An old pattern of putting yourself last may be asking for attention. Maybe you’re the person everyone calls when something goes wrong, or you’ve been taking care of a family member while quietly neglecting your own needs. The Mystic Rectangle also connects Jupiter and the South Node in Leo and your fourth house with the North Node in Aquarius and your tenth house of career. Family expectations and professional responsibilities may be competing for your time. You could discover that an arrangement you’ve accepted for years needs a few sensible changes.
Wednesday offers a lovely Venus-Jupiter sextile between your sixth and fourth houses. Someone at home may offer to help, a family conversation could lead to a better division of responsibilities, or you might finally find a way to make your daily routine more comfortable. This is an excellent opportunity to revisit an old health or household practice that once worked well for you. The Sun also meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your seventh house, bringing a possible moment of clarity in a close relationship. A partner may explain something you’ve misunderstood, or you might recognize that an old disagreement has been rooted in two very different expectations. Scorpio likes to excavate the truth, and this conjunction may help you understand what’s been happening beneath the surface.
Tuesday’s Moon in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini across your fifth house of children, romance, and recreation and your second house of money. An unexpected expense involving a child, a canceled outing, or a sudden change of plans could test your patience. You may also feel tempted to spend money on something simply because you’re tired and deserve a treat. Heaven knows Taurus appreciates a little luxury, but the pleasure will last longer if the bill doesn’t make you wince next week. As the days grow shorter, take some time to appreciate the home you’ve created and the people who make it meaningful. All Saints’ week can be a beautiful occasion to prepare a family recipe, share an old photograph, or remember someone whose love still lives within your household.
IRL Tip:
Choose one household responsibility that needs to be shared more fairly, and arrange a practical solution with the people involved.
Self-Care Theme:
Creating a home and daily routine that nourish you as generously as you nourish others.
Kind Deed:
Take a chore or errand off the hands of someone who’s been caring for others. Give them an afternoon to themselves.

Gemini (May 21-June 20) Weekly Horoscope: for Gemini & Gemini Rising
Your IRL Week:
Gemini, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo lights up your third house of communication, siblings, neighbors, and everyday errands. You’ve likely had plenty of conversations lately, and a few of them may still be rattling around in that busy mind of yours. Perhaps you’ve promised to return a call, finish some writing, or straighten out a misunderstanding with someone close to home. With the Sun in Scorpio and your sixth house of work and routines forming a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your eleventh house of friendship, you may be feeling pulled between your responsibilities and the people who want your time. The waning Moon invites you to finish what you’ve started and clear some space on the calendar.
The Mystic Rectangle offers a particularly interesting opportunity for you. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your fifth house of romance, children, and creative expression, opposite Chiron in Aries and your eleventh house of friendship. An old disappointment involving a friend, romantic interest, or social group may be coming back for another look. Perhaps you felt excluded from a gathering, misunderstood by someone you cared about, or disappointed when an invitation never arrived. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your third house of communication, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your ninth house of beliefs and higher understanding. You may discover that you’ve been telling yourself the same story about a situation for years, and a new piece of information could give it a very different meaning.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile is a lovely invitation to reconnect. An old friend or romantic interest may get in touch, a sibling could share some happy news, or a conversation might rekindle your enthusiasm for a creative project. If you’ve been meaning to write, teach, or share something you’ve learned, this aspect could bring a welcome burst of encouragement. Your ruler Mercury also meets the Sun in Scorpio and your sixth house of work, health, and daily habits. This is the heart of Mercury’s retrograde journey, and you may suddenly understand why a particular routine or work arrangement has been causing frustration. A conversation with a coworker could clear up an old misunderstanding, or you might recognize that your schedule has become so crowded there’s hardly room to enjoy the things you work so hard for.
Tuesday could be a little squirrelly as the Moon in Virgo and your fourth house squares Uranus in Gemini and your first house. A family member might change plans unexpectedly, something at home may require immediate attention, or you could wake up feeling restless and ready to rearrange your entire life before breakfast. Uranus in your sign is awakening a desire for greater freedom, and the people around you may need a little time to adjust to your changing interests. Give yourself room to experiment without turning every new idea into a major commitment. All Saints’ week may also bring memories of a loved one whose stories, sayings, or sense of humor still echo in your mind. Write down one of those stories, Gemini. Your gift for words can keep a little piece of someone alive for generations.
IRL Tip:
Revisit an unfinished conversation or creative project, and simplify one part of your daily schedule that’s become unnecessarily complicated.
Self-Care Theme:
Giving your busy mind some quiet while making room for new interests and possibilities.
Kind Deed:
Call an older relative or family friend and ask them to tell you a story from their younger days. Listen closely, and consider writing it down.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) Weekly Horoscope: for Cancer & Cancer Rising
Your IRL Week:
Cancer, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo illuminates your second house of money, possessions, and personal security. With Halloween behind us, you may be looking at the bills, the grocery receipts, or the cost of something you generously offered to do for someone else. Your ruler, Mama Luna, is asking you to take stock of what you have and how you’re using your resources. Meanwhile, the Sun in Scorpio and your fifth house of children, romance, and creativity forms an awkward quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your tenth house of career. Perhaps a child needs your attention just as work is becoming demanding, or you’ve been postponing something enjoyable because there’s always another responsibility waiting. A little rearranging of priorities could make a considerable difference.
The Mystic Rectangle touches some tender territory this week. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your fourth house of home, family, and ancestry, opposite Chiron in Aries and your tenth house of career and public identity. An old family wound may be asking for another look. Perhaps you grew up feeling that love was connected to achievement, or that being the dependable one was the surest way to earn approval. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your second house of self-worth and personal finances, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your eighth house of intimacy and shared resources. You may recognize how those early experiences have shaped what you expect from the people you love today. Cancer has a remarkable capacity for nurturing others, although sometimes the hardest person to extend that tenderness to is yourself.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile between your fourth and second houses could bring a lovely opportunity to reconnect with family or find greater comfort in your home. Someone may offer help with an expense, a relative could reach out after a misunderstanding, or you might finally give yourself permission to purchase something you’ve been putting off. The Sun also meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your fifth house, bringing clarity to a situation involving romance, children, or creative expression. Perhaps a conversation with an adult child helps you understand a choice they’ve made, or you recognize that an old romantic disappointment has been influencing how freely you express affection. Forgiveness may begin with acknowledging that everybody involved was doing the best they knew how at the time.
Tuesday’s Moon in Virgo moves through your third house of communication and squares Uranus in Gemini and your twelfth house. An unexpected phone call, a family message, or something you overhear could stir a memory you’d thought was long settled. Try to give yourself some breathing room before responding. With All Saints’ week unfolding, you may feel especially close to the people who have gone before you. This could be a beautiful time to pull out an old recipe, visit a family resting place, or light a candle beside a photograph. Some of the most precious things we inherit are the stories, gestures, and little traditions that continue to live through us.
IRL Tip:
Review a family or household expense, and make time for one conversation with someone you love that you’ve been meaning to have.
Self-Care Theme:
Recognizing your worth beyond what you accomplish or provide for others.
Kind Deed:
Share a cherished family memory with a younger relative, especially a story about someone they never had the opportunity to know.

Your IRL Week:
Well, Leo, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon lands right in your sign, and you may be feeling the urge to get a few things straightened out. Perhaps you’ve made promises you need to fulfill, a personal project has stalled, or someone is waiting for a decision you’ve been putting off. The Last Quarter Moon invites you to look at what’s working and what could use a little adjustment. Your ruler, the Sun, is traveling through Scorpio and your fourth house of home and family, forming a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your ninth house of travel, education, and beliefs. A family obligation could interfere with plans for a trip or class, or you may find yourself weighing a personal conviction against what someone close to you expects. Even a lion occasionally has to adjust the itinerary.
The Mystic Rectangle is especially personal for you, with Jupiter and the South Node traveling through Leo and your first house of identity, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your seventh house of partnership. Jupiter has been encouraging you to expand your horizons and enjoy being yourself, although the South Node may bring back an old need for recognition or reassurance. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your third house of communication, opposite Chiron in Aries and your ninth house of beliefs and understanding. Perhaps someone once dismissed an idea that mattered deeply to you, or a conversation left you feeling misunderstood. You may be discovering that other people can love you wholeheartedly and still see the world quite differently. That’s a useful realization for a sign with such a generous heart and strong convictions.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile between your third and first houses could bring a wonderfully affirming conversation. Someone may tell you how much they appreciate you, an old friend could reach out, or you might find the words to explain something you’ve struggled to express. This is an excellent aspect for mending fences, particularly where pride has kept two people at a distance. The Sun also meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your fourth house, turning your attention to family history and household matters. A relative may share information that changes your understanding of an old disagreement, or you could suddenly recognize why a particular family pattern has been so difficult to change. There’s considerable freedom in realizing that you can appreciate where you came from while choosing how you want to live now.
Tuesday’s Moon in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini across your second house of finances and eleventh house of friendships. An unexpected expense involving a group activity, a sudden invitation, or a change in plans could leave you scrambling. Someone may also make a remark that rubs you the wrong way, especially if you feel your generosity has been taken for granted. Give the situation a little room before deciding how to respond. All Saints’ week offers an opportunity to remember the people who encouraged you to shine, especially those whose confidence in you helped shape the person you’ve become. Share one of their stories with someone who could use a little encouragement of their own. Leo, your light has a way of helping others find theirs.
IRL Tip:
Finish one personal commitment you’ve been postponing, and reach out to someone with whom a misunderstanding has lingered.
Self-Care Theme:
Feeling secure in who you are while allowing others the freedom to be themselves.
Kind Deed:
Tell someone specifically how their encouragement or generosity has made a difference in your life.

Virgo (August 23-September 22) Weekly Horoscope: for Virgo & Virgo Rising
Your IRL Week:
Virgo, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo illuminates your twelfth house of solitude, dreams, and the quiet places where we process life’s experiences. You may be ready for a little peace after the excitement of Halloween, especially if you’ve been carrying responsibilities that nobody else seems to notice. Perhaps your desk is piled high, your phone keeps buzzing, or you’ve been lying awake mentally organizing tomorrow’s to-do list. The Sun in Scorpio occupies your third house of communication and forms a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your eighth house of shared obligations. A financial question, family responsibility, or conversation about something sensitive may require your attention. There’s wisdom in dealing with what’s necessary while giving yourself permission to leave a few things for another day.
The Mystic Rectangle reaches into your relationship with money, self-worth, and the responsibilities you carry for others. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your second house of personal resources, opposite Chiron in Aries and your eighth house of shared finances and emotional vulnerability. Perhaps you’ve spent years feeling responsible for keeping everybody financially secure, or an old experience of depending on someone else left you determined to manage everything yourself. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your twelfth house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your sixth house of work and health. You may recognize how much time you’ve spent worrying privately about situations that could benefit from a practical conversation. Virgo has a remarkable gift for service, although even the most capable person needs support occasionally.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile between your second and twelfth houses brings a gentle opportunity to reconsider what security means to you. You might discover an overlooked resource, receive a thoughtful offer of assistance, or simply recognize that you’ve been managing a difficult situation better than you realized. This is also a lovely aspect for extending compassion to yourself over a past financial or relationship decision. Your ruler Mercury meets the Sun in Scorpio and your third house that same day, reaching the heart of his retrograde journey. An old conversation may suddenly make sense, a missing piece of information could surface, or you might find yourself ready to say something you’ve been keeping inside. Your words can be especially powerful when they come from understanding rather than frustration.
Tuesday brings the Moon into Virgo, where she squares Uranus in Gemini and your tenth house of career and public responsibilities. A last-minute request from a client, a change in your work schedule, or an unexpected development involving a supervisor could disrupt your carefully arranged plans. Before reorganizing the entire week to accommodate somebody else’s emergency, find out what actually needs to happen. With the Sun and Mercury traveling through your third house during All Saints’ week, this is also a meaningful time to preserve the words and stories of people you’ve loved. Perhaps there’s an old letter tucked in a drawer, a favorite expression you still use, or a piece of advice that has stayed with you for decades. Write it down, Virgo. The smallest details often become the most treasured parts of a family’s history.
IRL Tip:
Review one shared financial responsibility, and clear some uninterrupted time to finish a conversation, letter, or writing project.
Self-Care Theme:
Releasing the expectation that you must have everything figured out before asking for help.
Kind Deed:
Offer practical assistance to someone facing a confusing financial or administrative task. Your ability to make sense of the details could bring them tremendous relief.

Libra, with Venus retrograde in your sign, you may be taking a long look at the person you’ve become and the relationships that helped shape you along the way. Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo illuminates your eleventh house of friendships, community, and future aspirations. Perhaps you’ve outgrown a social circle, become tired of organizing every gathering, or discovered that an old friend means considerably more to you than you realized. The Sun in Scorpio and your second house of money and self-worth also forms a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your seventh house of partnership. A financial commitment involving someone close may need adjusting. You may be ready to have that conversation about who’s contributing what, especially if you’ve been quietly keeping score.

An old wound around being loved, chosen, or appreciated may be surfacing. Perhaps a former partner made you feel you were asking for too much, or you’ve spent years believing that keeping the peace requires setting aside your own preferences. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your eleventh house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your fifth house of romance, children, and creative expression. You may recognize how often you’ve gone along with the group’s plans while postponing something you’ve wanted to do. Honey, even the zodiac’s great diplomat deserves a turn choosing the restaurant!
Wednesday brings a beautiful sextile between your ruler Venus and Jupiter, connecting your first house of identity with your eleventh house of friendship. An old friend may reach out, someone could offer encouragement just when you need it, or a social invitation might lead to an unexpectedly lovely reunion. There’s an opportunity here to experience affection without feeling you have to earn it by accommodating everybody else. That same day, the Sun meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your second house. A conversation about compensation, an old financial arrangement, or a purchase you’ve been reconsidering could bring greater clarity. You may also recognize that your feelings about money are connected to what you believe you deserve. That’s an important discovery for a sign that sometimes measures its happiness through the happiness of others.
Tuesday’s Virgo Moon moves through your twelfth house of solitude and squares Uranus in Gemini and your ninth house of travel and beliefs. The Sun in your sign also forms a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your sixth house of work and daily routines. Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile connects your twelfth and tenth houses. Someone from your professional past could offer encouragement, a former colleague might reach out, or you may receive appreciation for work you did long ago. There’s also an opportunity to reconsider an old disappointment with greater compassion. The same day, the Sun meets retrograde Mercury at 12° Scorpio in your first house. This is a significant moment in Mercury’s retrograde cycle, and you may suddenly find words for something you’ve been struggling to understand about yourself. A conversation, memory, or piece of information could reveal why a particular situation affected you so deeply. Tuesday’s Moon in Virgo moves through your eleventh house of friendships and squares Uranus in Gemini and your eighth house of shared resources and intimacy. A friend may surprise you with a request, a group expense could become complicated, or someone might reveal something you’ve been curious about for quite a while. Self-Care Theme:
Finding value in who you are beyond what you accomplish or provide for others.
Kind Deed:
Offer a word of encouragement to someone whose hard work has gone unrecognized. Let them know you’ve noticed.

The Sun in Scorpio occupies your twelfth house of solitude and reflection, forming a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your fifth house of romance, children, and creativity. Wednesday brings a lovely sextile between Venus and Jupiter, connecting your eleventh house of friendship with your ninth house of travel and higher understanding. An old friend may get in touch from afar, an invitation could rekindle your interest in a journey, or a conversation with someone who sees the world differently may restore your faith in human nature. Jupiter in Leo is wonderfully generous, and his connection with Venus encourages warmth, goodwill, and the possibility of reconciliation. The Sun also meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your twelfth house that day. A dream, private realization, or memory may help you understand something you’ve been carrying for a long time. You could find yourself ready to release a grudge or forgive the younger version of yourself who made a decision with considerably less wisdom than you possess today.
Tuesday’s Moon in Virgo crosses your tenth house of career and squares Uranus in Gemini and your seventh house of partnership. A colleague, client, or significant other may change plans unexpectedly, leaving you to rearrange an already busy day. Someone could also challenge one of your ideas, and your first instinct may be to explain exactly why you’re right. Sagittarius, your enthusiasm for truth is one of your finest qualities, but curiosity may reveal something useful that certainty would have missed. As All Saints’ week continues, consider the people who influenced your understanding of life. A grandparent, teacher, spiritual guide, or beloved friend may have shared a story or piece of wisdom that still travels with you. Honor that person by passing along something they taught you. Some of our most precious inheritances arrive through the spoken word.
IRL Tip:
Revisit an old friendship or travel plan, and give yourself a little quiet time to consider whether your priorities have changed.
Self-Care Theme:
Allowing your understanding of life and other people to deepen through curiosity and compassion.
Kind Deed:
Share a meaningful book, story, or piece of wisdom with someone who could benefit from it, especially a younger person finding their way.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19) Weekly Horoscope: for Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
Your IRL Week:
Capricorn, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo illuminates your eighth house of shared finances, inheritance, intimacy, and the obligations we take on with other people. You may be sorting through household bills, reviewing an insurance policy, or wondering why a particular financial arrangement has become so complicated. Perhaps you’ve been helping a family member financially, or you’ve discovered that a promise made months ago is proving harder to keep than expected. The Sun in Scorpio occupies your eleventh house of friendships and community, forming a quincunx to your ruler Saturn in Aries and your fourth house of home and family. A commitment to a friend or organization may be interfering with something that needs attention at home. Capricorn is famous for getting the job done, but even the most capable mountain goat occasionally needs to reconsider how much weight belongs in that backpack.
The Mystic Rectangle reaches into some deeply personal territory. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your tenth house of career and public identity, opposite Chiron in Aries and your fourth house of family and emotional foundations. An old wound around achievement, belonging, or earning approval may be asking for your attention. Perhaps you grew up believing that being successful was the surest way to make your family proud, or you’ve spent years being the dependable one while quietly wishing someone would take care of you for a change. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your eighth house of shared resources, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your second house of personal finances and self-worth. You may discover how an old family expectation has influenced your relationship with money, generosity, or financial independence.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile connects your tenth and eighth houses, offering an opportunity for a productive conversation about money or professional responsibilities. A former colleague may reach out with an opportunity, someone could offer assistance with a financial matter, or you might find a more equitable way to share an obligation. The Sun also meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your eleventh house of friendship. An old misunderstanding with a friend may suddenly become clearer, or you could recognize why your involvement with a particular group has changed. Perhaps you’ve been disappointed that someone failed to show up for you, only to discover they were dealing with difficulties of their own. Greater understanding can make room for compassion while helping you decide how you want the friendship to continue.
Tuesday’s Virgo Moon squares Uranus in Gemini across your ninth house of travel and learning and sixth house of work and daily routines. An appointment could change unexpectedly, a travel arrangement may require attention, or a coworker’s sudden request might interrupt your carefully planned day. Try to leave a little room for the unexpected. With All Saints’ week upon us, family memories may feel particularly close. This could be a meaningful time to look through old photographs, revisit a family tradition, or remember someone who taught you the value of perseverance. You may also discover that a few inherited expectations are ready to become compost. Keep the wisdom, Capricorn, and give yourself permission to live a little more lightly.
IRL Tip:
Review a shared financial responsibility or family obligation, and have one practical conversation about how it can be managed more fairly.
Self-Care Theme:
Allowing your worth to exist independently of your achievements and responsibilities.
Kind Deed:
Offer a word of appreciation to someone who quietly keeps things running, whether at work, at home, or in your community.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18) Weekly Horoscope: for Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
Your IRL Week:
Aquarius, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo shines into your seventh house of marriage, partnership, and significant relationships. Someone close to you may be asking for more attention, or you could be realizing that a relationship has been operating on assumptions that deserve another look. Perhaps your partner wants to make holiday plans, a business associate is waiting for an answer, or you’ve been so absorbed in your own projects that a loved one feels they’ve been squeezed into the margins of your calendar. Meanwhile, the Sun in Scorpio and your tenth house of career forms a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your third house of communication. A work responsibility may require an awkward conversation or a change in plans. You might discover that the easiest way forward is simply to ask what the other person needs instead of trying to anticipate every possible reaction.
The Mystic Rectangle offers an opportunity to reconsider how you communicate within your relationships. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your ninth house of travel, beliefs, and higher understanding, opposite Chiron in Aries and your third house of communication. Perhaps someone once dismissed an idea that was important to you, or a disagreement left you feeling that your perspective didn’t matter. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo occupy your seventh house of partnership, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your first house of identity. You may recognize an old tendency to become so invested in another person’s happiness that you gradually lose sight of your own preferences. Aquarius values freedom, and sometimes that freedom begins with the simple willingness to tell someone what you really want.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile connects your ninth and seventh houses, bringing a welcome opportunity for understanding. A partner might suggest a trip, an old friend from another city could reach out, or a conversation about differing beliefs may end with both people feeling more appreciated. Someone may surprise you by being more receptive than you expected. That same day, the Sun meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your tenth house of career. A professional misunderstanding could finally make sense, or you might receive information that helps you reconsider a decision about your work. Perhaps an opportunity you passed over deserves another look, or a conversation with a former colleague reveals a different way to use your talents. There’s wisdom in allowing your ambitions to evolve alongside the person you’re becoming.
Tuesday’s Virgo Moon moves through your eighth house of shared finances and intimacy, squaring Uranus in Gemini and your fifth house of children, romance, and creativity. An unexpected expense involving a child, a change in romantic plans, or a surprise related to a creative project could interrupt your day. You may also feel unsettled by a conversation about money or emotional expectations. Give yourself room to sort through the details before responding. All Saints’ week offers an opportunity to reflect on the people who helped shape your understanding of life. Perhaps a teacher encouraged your unconventional ideas, a grandparent celebrated your individuality, or an old friend made you feel completely at home being yourself. Their influence continues through the freedom and kindness you extend to others.
IRL Tip:
Have a conversation with your partner or a close associate about an upcoming plan. Make sure both of your preferences are part of the decision.
Self-Care Theme:
Honoring your individuality while building relationships that make room for two whole people.
Kind Deed:
Reach out to someone whose perspective differs from yours and give them the pleasure of being heard with genuine curiosity.

Pisces (February 19-March 20) Weekly Horoscope: for Pisces & Pisces Rising
Your IRL Week:
Pisces, Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon in Leo illuminates your sixth house of work, health, and everyday responsibilities. You may be looking around at a pile of unfinished tasks, a crowded calendar, or a list of appointments that somehow keeps growing longer. Perhaps you’ve been helping someone through a difficult situation and your own routines have fallen by the wayside. The Sun in Scorpio occupies your ninth house of spiritual understanding, travel, and higher learning, forming a quincunx to Saturn in Aries and your second house of money and personal resources. A trip, class, or meaningful project may require some financial adjustments. You could also be wondering how to make time for something that nourishes your spirit while keeping up with the practical demands of life. Even a mystical Pisces has to remember to pay the electric bill!
The Mystic Rectangle touches your relationship with money, service, and emotional security. Venus retrograde in Libra occupies your eighth house of shared finances, intimacy, and trust, opposite Chiron in Aries and your second house of self-worth. An old experience involving financial dependence, unequal giving, or feeling insufficiently appreciated may be resurfacing. Perhaps you’ve been paying more than your share, lending money you could use yourself, or quietly assuming responsibility for someone else’s problems. Your ruler Jupiter travels with the South Node in Leo and your sixth house of work and service, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your twelfth house of rest and spiritual connection. You may recognize how readily you’ve made yourself available to others, even when your own reserves were running low. Compassion comes naturally to Pisces, although learning to include yourself in that circle of care can be a lifelong practice.
Wednesday’s Venus-Jupiter sextile connects your eighth and sixth houses and may bring a welcome opportunity to improve a financial or working arrangement. Someone could offer help with an expense, a colleague might volunteer to share a responsibility, or a conversation with a loved one may bring greater understanding about what each of you can reasonably contribute. This is also a lovely aspect for recognizing the generosity that’s been present in your life, even during difficult times. The Sun meets retrograde Mercury in Scorpio and your ninth house that same day, illuminating something about your beliefs or understanding of a past experience. A book, conversation, or spiritual practice could help you make sense of a loss or disappointment you’ve carried for years. Sometimes our understanding changes long after the events themselves have passed.
Tuesday’s Virgo Moon moves through your seventh house of partnership and squares Uranus in Gemini and your fourth house of home and family. A partner might change plans unexpectedly, a family member could call with a request, or something around the house may demand immediate attention. If you feel pulled in several directions, address what’s genuinely urgent and leave yourself a little room to breathe. All Saints’ week may stir particularly tender memories, especially of people who offered you comfort during difficult chapters of your life. Light a candle, listen to a favorite piece of music, or prepare a meal that brings someone beloved to mind. As autumn’s leaves return to the earth, consider how the love you’ve received continues to nourish your life. Even the sorrows we’ve carried can become part of the fertile ground from which new happiness grows.
IRL Tip:
Review one shared expense or responsibility that’s become burdensome, and make a practical adjustment that protects your time and resources.
Self-Care Theme:
Extending the same generosity and tenderness to yourself that you offer so freely to others.
Kind Deed:
Bring a meal, flowers, or a handwritten note to someone who may be grieving. Sometimes the simplest gesture carries the greatest comfort.
