The Morning Star, the Sacred Waters & the Seeds of Renewal

We begin this week under the influence of two extraordinary fixed stars. The Sun in Scorpio forms a declination parallel with Sirius, the brightest star in our night sky, while retrograde Venus in Libra remains closely conjunct Spica, the brilliant star marking the sheaf of wheat held by the celestial Virgin.

What a remarkable gathering of ancient symbolism as we emerge from the mysteries of Samhain.

Sirius, known as Sothis to the ancient Egyptians, was associated with Isis, the great goddess of magic, motherhood, and regeneration. Its first appearance in the eastern sky before dawn once heralded the annual inundation of the Nile. Those waters carried fertile sediment onto the surrounding land, making possible the planting and harvest that sustained Egyptian civilization. The river’s cycles became deeply woven into the sacred understanding of death, fertility, and renewal.

Spica tells another part of the story. Located in the constellation Virgo, she represents the ear of grain held in the Virgin’s hand. Associated with Demeter and Ceres, the goddesses of the harvest, Spica has long been regarded in astrology as a particularly fortunate star, carrying the symbolism of abundance, gifts, and the fruits of patient cultivation.

Here we have Sirius and the waters of renewal, Spica and the grain that nourishes us, while Venus herself has emerged from her recent descent through the underworld.

Our goddess of love is returning to the morning sky. Look toward the east-southeast horizon before sunrise, and as her visibility improves, you may catch her brilliant light announcing the approaching dawn. Through a telescope, Venus reveals herself as a slender crescent, a silvery fingernail against the darkness.

The ancient stories of descent and return seem especially meaningful as we consider what has unfolded here in Sedona.

Many of you may have heard about the devastating flooding on All Saints’ Day, November 1. Heavy rains sent Oak Creek surging through our community, forcing evacuations and damaging homes and businesses. Our beloved Center for the New Age, a gathering place for spiritual seekers, teachers, and healers for many years, was among the affected properties. I’ve learned that approximately four feet of floodwater entered the Center.

For those of us who know and love the Center for the New Age, this loss reaches beyond the damage to a building. Sacred places become repositories of human experience. Within their walls, people have brought their questions, their grief, their hopes, and their longing to understand the mysteries of existence. The Center has offered a place for those encounters for many years. To see it filled with floodwater during the season when we honor our ancestors and contemplate the mysteries of death and renewal carries a particular poignancy.

My heart is with those who have devoted themselves to this place, with the people who have found meaning and companionship there, and with everyone now facing the difficult work of restoration.

The flooding also raises an interesting astrological question. With so many planets occupying fire and air signs, how do we understand such an overwhelming expression of water?

The physical explanation begins months earlier, in the mountains north of Sedona.

On June 19, the Pocket Fire began burning through the surrounding forest. By the time it was contained, approximately 27,393 acres had burned, including portions of the landscape associated with the Oak Creek watershed.

A healthy forest helps protect the land during heavy rainfall. Trees intercept the rain, vegetation slows its movement, and roots help hold the soil together. Following a wildfire, much of that natural protection can disappear. Intense heat can also change the soil’s ability to absorb water, allowing rainfall to rush downhill with greater force, carrying sediment and debris into the waterways below.

When powerful storms arrived on November 1, they encountered a landscape already affected by fire. The precise contribution of the burn scar to this particular flood remains to be determined, although the danger of post-fire flooding had already been recognized.

The fire came in June. The flood arrived in November.

The consequences of one season became part of the conditions of another.

Astrologically, the Sun and retrograde Mercury were both traveling through Scorpio during the flooding. Scorpio is the sign of fixed water, associated with the mysteries beneath the surface, shared resources, and the processes of death, decomposition, and regeneration.

There is something profoundly Scorpio about discovering how deeply connected these events have been, and how the effects of one experience can continue unfolding long after the original circumstances have passed. The physical causes of the flooding belong to the natural processes of weather, geology, and watershed conditions. Astrology offers us another language through which to contemplate the meaning of what we’ve witnessed.

Nature carries the memory of what she has endured.

Now consider the symbolism of Sirius, whose ancient appearance heralded the Nile’s seasonal inundation, and Spica, whose ear of grain represents the nourishment that eventually rises from fertile earth. The Nile’s annual flooding sustained an ancient civilization, while the waters that reached Sedona caused destruction and suffering. Their shared symbolism invites us to contemplate the immense power of water and the patient, practical work required for recovery.

Here in Sedona, regeneration has become something profoundly tangible. It lives in the hands clearing mud from a beloved gathering place, in the generosity of neighbors offering help, and in the determination of a community to preserve something precious.

The work of restoration is sacred work.

Monday, November 9, brings a New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio, just after midnight here in Arizona.

Mama Luna joins her husband, the Sun, in the sign of transformation, disappearing into his embrace before beginning her next waxing journey. In the ancient understanding of the lunar cycle, the dark Moon holds the potential of what has yet to take form.

This New Moon seeds what might grow from the experiences we’ve been living through. Perhaps a relationship has changed, an old wound has begun to soften, or we’ve discovered something about ourselves through circumstances we would never have chosen.

Scorpio understands that transformation reaches into the deepest layers of our being. Sometimes the wisdom we need emerges slowly, through the ordinary work of living, loving, grieving, and finding our way forward.

Tuesday brings a sextile between Venus in Libra and Mars in Leo, offering a welcome opportunity for warmth and affection. Venus has been revisiting questions of partnership, fairness, and personal worth, while Mars in Leo encourages us to express our hearts with courage and generosity.

A thoughtful gesture, an honest conversation, or an unexpected kindness may help restore a little faith in human nature. Perhaps someone reaches out after a misunderstanding, or we find ourselves better able to appreciate the love that existed even within a difficult relationship.

The Mystic Rectangle that has accompanied us through recent weeks is gradually separating. Venus moves away from her opposition to Chiron in Aries, while Jupiter continues near the South Node in Leo, opposite the North Node in Aquarius.

This pattern has brought some of our oldest relationship wounds into focus, particularly those involving rejection, belonging, pride, and the desire to be loved. Its harmonious connections have offered opportunities to see one another with greater compassion and to recognize the ways our own experiences have shaped our responses.

We collect a remarkable number of bumps and bruises simply by trying to live a human life. We fall in love, trust people, make promises, raise families, build friendships, and hope to rustle up a little happiness along the way. Sometimes we disappoint one another. Sometimes the people we love wound us. Sometimes the deepest hurt comes from the judgments we’ve placed upon ourselves.

It ain’t always easy being human.

The lessons of the Mystic Rectangle can now begin finding their way into daily life. Greater understanding may allow us to forgive someone whose choices caused us pain while honoring the boundaries we’ve learned to value. That same grace can help us appreciate the younger versions of ourselves who made decisions with the understanding they possessed at the time.

Another fascinating configuration is developing among the planets in fire and air. Uranus in Gemini forms a trine with Pluto in Aquarius, while Neptune in Aries connects with both through sextiles. Saturn, also traveling through Aries, adds a more practical dimension to this emerging pattern.

Astrologers recognize the Uranus–Neptune–Pluto arrangement as a Minor Grand Trine. With Venus in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and Mars and Jupiter in Leo, the heavens are richly populated by the fire and air elements.

Fire brings initiative, inspiration, and the courage to act. Air brings ideas, perspective, and the ability to imagine new possibilities.

These planets occupy five of the six fire and air signs, creating an emerging network of harmonious aspects rather than an exact Grand Sextile. Even so, the developing connections suggest a fascinating period of innovation and reconsideration, when new ideas may begin challenging familiar assumptions about how we live together.

Friday, November 13, brings the week’s great turning point.

Mercury stations direct at 5°02? Scorpio, followed later that day by Venus stationing direct at 22°51? Libra.

Two planets changing direction within hours of one another.

Mercury has spent his retrograde journey retracing conversations, revisiting information, and uncovering details that may have changed our understanding of earlier events. His direct station offers an opportunity to begin applying what we’ve learned. The coming weeks will allow those discoveries to settle as Mercury gradually regains speed.

Venus has traveled a more intimate path. Her descent through Scorpio and return to Libra have asked us to reconsider what we value, how we seek affection, and the sometimes painful lessons we gather through loving other people.

As Venus stations direct in the celestial neighborhood of Spica, the symbolism of the harvest becomes especially meaningful.

What have we learned about love during these past weeks? What understandings have we gathered from the relationships that shaped us? Which old expectations have reached the end of their season, and what might we wish to cultivate in their place?

The image of the celestial Virgin holding her sheaf of wheat offers a beautiful meditation on everything that contributes to a harvest. The preparation of the soil, the planting, the tending, the weather, and the passage of time all become part of what eventually reaches our table.

The same is true of the wisdom we gather throughout our lives.

We carry the experiences that have changed us, the people who have loved us, the disappointments that challenged our understanding, and the moments of grace that helped us find our way. Each becomes part of the substance from which our next season grows.

Here in Sedona, the work of restoration is beginning. The landscape will carry the memory of fire and flood as it enters another cycle of growth. Our community will carry the memory of what happened, along with the care extended by neighbors, friends, and strangers.

For the Center for the New Age, that work will require time, resources, and the generosity of those who value the sacred space it has provided. I hope those of us whose lives have been enriched by the Center will look for opportunities to support its recovery as its needs become known.

Perhaps the ancient relationship between Sirius and Spica offers us something worth contemplating this week. Water and grain. Descent and return. The forces that change the landscape and the patient cultivation through which life continues.

Above the eastern horizon, Venus is rising once again.

May her return invite us to approach the future with greater wisdom, extend grace toward the tender places within ourselves and one another, and participate lovingly in the work of renewal.

May the Center for the New Age experience that same generosity of spirit as its next chapter unfolds. May the hands that have welcomed so many seekers now receive the support and tenderness they have so freely offered.

The Morning Star is shining, my fellow travelers beneath this ensouled cosmos.

A new season is beginning to stir beneath the soil.

Aries (March 21-April 19) Weekly Horoscope: for Aries & Aries Rising

Your IRL Week:
Aries, you’re usually pretty good at knowing what you want and going after it. Sharing the steering wheel with someone else can be another matter entirely. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your eighth house of intimacy, shared finances, and the sometimes uncomfortable experience of depending on another person. Perhaps you’ve been trying to settle a financial matter with a partner, struggling to ask for help, or wondering whether someone you love truly understands what you need. Mercury’s journey through Scorpio may have brought an old disappointment back into focus. This lunation invites you to consider how much energy you’ve spent protecting yourself from being hurt again. You can be strong, capable, and wonderfully independent while still allowing someone to stand beside you.

Venus in Libra occupies your seventh house of marriage and partnership, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your fifth house of romance and pleasure on Tuesday. This is a lovely opportunity to bring some warmth back into a relationship that’s been feeling a little serious. Perhaps you’ve been waiting for your partner to initiate an evening together, or you’ve become so preoccupied with resolving a disagreement that you’ve forgotten how much fun you have with this person. A playful invitation, an affectionate gesture, or a few hours doing something you both enjoy could change the atmosphere considerably. Aries, your courage is one of your greatest gifts. Sometimes it takes a different kind of bravery to express tenderness before you know how it will be received.

Saturn and Neptune in your first house have been asking you to take a deeper look at who you’re becoming. Uranus in Gemini and your third house is changing the way you think and communicate, while Pluto in Aquarius and your eleventh house transforms your relationship with friends and community. You may find yourself less willing to participate in social obligations that feel draining or more interested in friendships where you can speak freely. Perhaps you’ve always been the one who organizes the gathering, makes the decisions, or comes to everyone’s rescue. The developing fire-and-air configuration suggests that you can begin doing things differently. The people who genuinely care about you may welcome the opportunity to contribute more.

Friday brings Mercury’s direct station in your eighth house and Venus’s in your seventh. A conversation involving money, trust, or emotional expectations may begin moving toward resolution. You might finally agree on how to divide a household expense, receive information about an outstanding financial matter, or discover that a partner has been struggling with concerns of their own. Give the process time as both planets gradually regain momentum. After weeks of examining old relationship wounds, the opportunity now is to apply what you’ve learned. You have a generous heart, Aries, and there’s considerable freedom in allowing someone to love you without feeling you must manage every detail of how they do it.

IRL Tip:
Ask your partner or someone close to you for one specific thing that would make your life easier. Give them the opportunity to show up for you.

Self-Care Theme:
Discovering that vulnerability and independence can live comfortably together.

Kind Deed:
Offer help to someone who usually insists on handling everything alone. Make the offer gently and allow them to decide what they need.

Taurus (April 20-May 20) Weekly Horoscope: for Taurus & Taurus Rising

Your IRL Week:
Taurus, you appreciate knowing where you stand. You like your home comfortable, your finances reasonably predictable, and the people you love to mean what they say. Monday’s Scorpio New Moon falls directly across from your sign, illuminating your seventh house of marriage and partnership. After several weeks of revisiting relationship concerns, you may be ready to discuss something that has been quietly bothering you. Perhaps your spouse has been distracted, a business partner has changed the terms of an agreement, or someone close to you seems to expect more flexibility than you’re comfortable offering. Scorpio asks us to look beneath the obvious disagreement. A squabble over household chores may really concern feeling appreciated, while a conversation about money could reveal differing ideas about security.

Your ruler Venus continues through Libra and your sixth house of daily routines, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your fourth house of home and family on Tuesday. This could be a lovely time to make your surroundings more enjoyable. Maybe the house has been chaotic, dinner has become something you eat standing at the kitchen counter, or you’ve been so busy taking care of practical matters that you rarely sit down and enjoy the life you’ve created. A family member may offer to help with a project, or you and your partner could rediscover the pleasure of an unhurried evening together. Taurus understands that love often reveals itself through ordinary acts of care. A thoughtfully prepared meal or a responsibility willingly shared can speak volumes.

The developing pattern among Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries brings a much larger reconsideration of security. Uranus in your second house may be changing how you earn or manage money, while Pluto in your tenth house transforms your professional ambitions. Perhaps you’ve spent years working toward a particular goal, only to discover that what you want now is more time, greater flexibility, or the freedom to enjoy your home. Saturn and Neptune in your twelfth house invite you to consider what brings genuine peace of mind. You may be surprised to discover how much of your old definition of success was inherited from other people. The years ahead may offer opportunities to build a life that better reflects your own values.

Friday’s direct stations of Mercury in your seventh house and Venus in your sixth could help a practical situation begin moving forward. Perhaps you and your partner finally settle a household disagreement, a work schedule becomes more manageable, or someone recognizes that you’ve been carrying more than your share. There’s wisdom in making changes that everyone can sustain. As Venus gradually gathers speed, consider the ways your daily routines can support the relationships you treasure. Taurus, you’ve always known that the most beautiful gardens require patience, nourishment, and consistent care. The people we love deserve that same attention, and so do we.

IRL Tip:
Choose one evening this week to enjoy your home without a list of chores waiting to be completed. Invite someone you love to share it.

Self-Care Theme:
Creating security through steady care, honest communication, and simple pleasures.

Kind Deed:
Prepare someone’s favorite meal or help make their home a little more comfortable. Thoughtful gestures can carry tremendous affection.

Gemini, how many conversations are you having in your head before you’ve even finished your morning coffee? Your ruler Mercury has been traveling backward through Scorpio and your sixth house of work and daily responsibilities, and you may have spent the past few weeks trying to untangle a situation that keeps developing new complications. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio offers an opportunity to rethink how you manage your time. Perhaps you’ve been answering emails late into the evening, saying yes to projects because they sound interesting, or keeping a schedule that leaves little room for the unexpected. You may discover that one small change in your routine makes a remarkable difference. The mind works beautifully when it has a little space to wander.

Venus in Libra occupies your fifth house of romance, children, creativity, and pleasure, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your third house of communication on Tuesday. An old friend may call with an interesting idea, a romantic conversation could take a warmer turn, or you might rediscover something you’ve loved writing, reading, or creating. Perhaps a child asks you a question that sends you down a fascinating rabbit hole, or a casual conversation introduces you to a subject you’d never considered exploring. Gemini thrives on discovery, and this aspect encourages you to follow the ideas that make you feel alive. Just remember that every interesting invitation requires a little room on the calendar.

Uranus in Gemini is beginning a long period of awakening in your first house, and you may already sense that the person you’re becoming has different interests and priorities from the one you were a few years ago. Pluto in Aquarius and your ninth house is changing your understanding of the world, while Saturn and Neptune in Aries and your eleventh house bring a more discerning eye to friendships and community. Perhaps you’ve been drawn toward an entirely new field of study, or you’re finding that conversations with certain people leave you inspired while others leave you exhausted. You may also be discovering that your opinions are evolving. There’s tremendous freedom in allowing yourself to change your mind as you encounter new information and experiences.

Friday brings a particularly meaningful turning point as Mercury stations direct in Scorpio and your sixth house, followed by Venus in Libra and your fifth. A delayed work project may begin moving again, a scheduling problem could find a solution, or information you’ve been waiting for may finally arrive. Allow both planets time to gather momentum before filling every available hour with new commitments. Gemini, your gift is making connections between people, stories, and ideas that others might never notice. Give yourself enough breathing room to enjoy those discoveries. One thoughtful conversation or unexpected moment of inspiration could lead somewhere rather wonderful.

Giving your mind room to breathe while following the interests that bring you joy.

Cancer, you can remember the smallest details about someone you love. Their favorite meal, the sound of their laughter, something they said twenty years ago that everybody else has forgotten. Your heart is a remarkable keeper of memories, although sometimes the disappointments find their way into that collection, too. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your fifth house of romance, children, creativity, and pleasure. You may also feel drawn to revisit a family tradition or spend time with someone whose presence makes you feel grounded. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo have been stirring questions about your own resources, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your eighth house of shared finances. You may discover that your instinct to provide for others has occasionally led you to give beyond what feels comfortable. Cancer, your generosity is a beautiful quality, and allowing others to contribute is another way of strengthening the bonds between you.

Uranus in your twelfth house may be awakening insights through dreams, meditation, or unexpected moments of solitude, while Pluto in your eighth house continues transforming your understanding of trust, intimacy, and shared resources. Saturn and Neptune in your tenth house are also asking you to reconsider your professional direction. Perhaps you’ve achieved something you once thought would make you happy, only to discover that you now want more time with family, greater freedom, or work that feels personally meaningful. You may be finding that your definition of success has matured. The life you’re building can accommodate both your ambitions and your need for emotional connection.

Friday brings Mercury’s direct station in your fifth house and Venus’s in your fourth. A family conversation may begin moving toward greater understanding, or a situation involving a child or romantic partner could become clearer. Perhaps someone finally explains a choice that puzzled you, or you recognize that an old disappointment has been influencing how you respond to them today. Give these conversations room to unfold as both planets gradually gather momentum. The appearance of Venus as the Morning Star offers a beautiful image for a sign so deeply connected to the cycles of life. We carry the love of those who came before us, yet we also have the opportunity to create new traditions, new memories, and new ways of caring for one another. There’s still so much happiness waiting to be cultivated, Cancer.

IRL Tip:
Make time for a relaxed conversation with someone you love, especially if a misunderstanding has lingered. Choose a setting where you can enjoy one another’s company.

Self-Care Theme:
Allowing the people you love to grow and change while giving your own heart the care it deserves.

Your IRL Week:
Leo, you’ve got a generous heart, and there’s a good chance you’ve spent much of your life making things happen for the people you love. You’re often the one who organizes the celebration, remembers the special occasion, or finds a way to make an ordinary evening memorable. Monday’s Scorpio New Moon at 16°53? falls in your fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundations, inviting you to consider what you need from the people closest to you. Perhaps you’ve been taking charge of a household situation while quietly wishing someone else would offer to help. Jupiter and the South Node in your sign, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your seventh house of partnership, have also been highlighting the balance between personal desires and the needs of others. Leo, your natural confidence can become an extraordinary source of encouragement when you allow other people the freedom to discover their own path.

Virgo (August 23-September 22) Weekly Horoscope: for Virgo & Virgo Rising

Your IRL Week:
Virgo, you have a remarkable ability to notice what needs attention. The crooked picture, the overlooked detail in a contract, the family member who seems a little quieter than usual. You’ve probably saved more than one person from a complicated mess simply by catching something everybody else missed. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your third house of communication, siblings, neighbors, and everyday exchanges, inviting you to consider how you’re using that perceptive mind. You may also be examining financial agreements or obligations that have become increasingly complicated. Give the planets time to regain momentum before making major commitments. Virgo, your gift for discernment serves you beautifully when it’s accompanied by compassion for yourself. You can review a past decision, recognize what you’ve learned, and move forward with greater understanding. Review one shared financial responsibility, and clear some uninterrupted time to finish a conversation, letter, or writing project.

Self-Care Theme:
Appreciating your ability to help others while allowing yourself greater ease and freedom from unnecessary responsibility.

Libra (September 23-October 22) Weekly Horoscope: for Libra & Libra Rising

Your IRL Week:
Libra, you’ve probably spent a good portion of your life considering how your decisions affect everyone around you. You have a remarkable ability to see both sides of a situation, although sometimes that leaves you wondering which side actually belongs to you. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your second house of money, possessions, and personal values, inviting you to consider what makes you feel secure and appreciated. Perhaps you’ve been negotiating a financial arrangement, wondering whether you’re being fairly compensated, or reconsidering how much you’re willing to spend to make someone else happy. With Mercury retracing his steps through Scorpio, an old question about money or self-worth may be returning for a more thoughtful examination. This New Moon offers an opportunity to begin building security around the life you genuinely want to live.

Your ruler Venus is traveling through Libra and your first house, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your eleventh house of friendships and community on Tuesday. After weeks of examining relationships, this could be a welcome opportunity to enjoy the company of people who appreciate you. Perhaps an old friend reaches out, someone invites you to an event you’ve been wanting to attend, or you find yourself ready to reconnect after a misunderstanding. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo have also been illuminating your eleventh house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your fifth house of romance and personal enjoyment. You may recognize an old tendency to accept every invitation or take responsibility for making sure everybody has a wonderful time. Libra, your gift for bringing people together is beautiful, but surely someone else can choose the restaurant occasionally! The fading Mystic Rectangle suggests that some of your recent discoveries about love and belonging are ready to become part of the way you live.

The developing connections among Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries bring a larger reconsideration of partnership, pleasure, and the future you envision. Saturn and Neptune in your seventh house are encouraging you to examine what commitment means and how your relationships support your aspirations. Uranus in your ninth house may awaken an interest in travel, education, or a different understanding of the world, while Pluto in your fifth house continues transforming your creative and romantic life. Perhaps you’re considering a journey that excites you more than it does your partner, or you’ve discovered a creative interest that deserves more of your time. You may also be realizing that some of the dreams you once shared with someone have changed. A meaningful partnership can accommodate two people who are continually growing, especially when both are willing to listen with curiosity and affection.

Friday brings a particularly personal turning point as Venus stations direct at 22°51? Libra in your first house, while Mercury turns direct in Scorpio and your second. Scorpio (October 23-November 21) Weekly Horoscope: for Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Your IRL Week:
Scorpio, you have a way of sensing when there’s more to a story than people are telling you. You notice the hesitation before someone answers, the change in their tone, or the details that somehow fail to add up. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio takes place in your first house of identity and personal direction, inviting you to turn that remarkable perceptiveness toward your own life. Perhaps you’ve been questioning a decision, examining an old relationship, or recognizing that something you once wanted has lost its importance. With Mercury also revisiting your sign, information or memories from the past may be helping you understand how you’ve arrived at this particular moment. This is your annual New Moon, Scorpio, and it offers an opportunity to consider who you’re becoming and what deserves your energy in the year ahead.

Venus in Libra occupies your twelfth house of memory, solitude, and the private places of the heart, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your tenth house of career on Tuesday. An old professional connection may reach out, someone could acknowledge work you did long ago, or you might recognize how a difficult experience contributed to the person you’ve become. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo have been traveling through your tenth house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your fourth house of home and family. Perhaps you’ve been so accustomed to being accomplished, dependable, or respected for your abilities that you’ve found it difficult to admit when you need support. The Mystic Rectangle is beginning to loosen, and some of its lessons about rejection, forgiveness, and belonging may be helping you see how much of your worth you’ve attached to what you accomplish. Scorpio, there’s a whole person beneath that capable exterior, and the people who love you may be longing to know more of that person.

The developing pattern among Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries brings changes to your intimate relationships, home life, and daily responsibilities. Uranus in your eighth house may be introducing new circumstances involving shared finances or emotional commitments, while Pluto in your fourth house continues its profound transformation of family patterns and your sense of belonging. Saturn and Neptune in your sixth house are asking you to create a daily life that supports both your practical responsibilities and your spiritual well-being. Perhaps you’ve been considering a change in your living arrangements, renegotiating responsibilities with a partner, or recognizing that your work schedule has left too little time for the people you love. A conversation about something as ordinary as household expenses could reveal an opportunity to create greater trust and understanding.

Friday brings Mercury’s direct station in Scorpio and your first house, followed by Venus turning direct in Libra and your twelfth. An old question about yourself may begin to find an answer, or you could recognize that a disappointment you’ve carried for years has gradually changed its meaning. Perhaps a conversation finally helps you understand someone’s behavior, or you discover that you’ve been judging yourself for a choice made under difficult circumstances. Give yourself time to absorb what has emerged before making major decisions. Scorpio understands the mysteries of death and regeneration, and Venus’s return as the Morning Star carries particular resonance for your sign. The experiences that have changed us remain part of our story, while each new chapter offers an opportunity to live with greater wisdom and compassion. Sometimes the most profound transformation is the quiet decision to treat ourselves more tenderly.

IRL Tip:
Reconsider one professional or household responsibility that has become burdensome. Make a practical adjustment that allows greater time for your private life.

Self-Care Theme:
Allowing yourself to be loved and appreciated for the whole person you are, beyond what you accomplish or provide.

Kind Deed:
Offer encouragement to someone navigating a professional disappointment or major life change. Your ability to understand difficult transitions could bring them genuine comfort.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) Weekly Horoscope: for Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

Your IRL Week:
Sagittarius, you’ve always had a gift for finding meaning in life’s adventures. Give you a difficult experience, and sooner or later you’ll be trying to understand what it taught you, how it changed your perspective, and where it might lead next. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your twelfth house of solitude, dreams, and spiritual understanding, inviting you to spend a little time with the experiences you’ve been processing privately. Perhaps a friendship has changed, a disappointment still troubles you, or you’ve been so busy planning your next adventure that you haven’t fully considered what the last one taught you. With Mercury also traveling through this part of your chart, a memory or conversation could bring an unexpected insight. This New Moon encourages you to give your inner life the same curiosity you bring to exploring the world.

Venus in Libra occupies your eleventh house of friendship, community, and future aspirations, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your ninth house of travel, education, and beliefs on Tuesday. An old friend may reach out with an invitation, someone could suggest a journey, or a conversation might rekindle your enthusiasm for a course or spiritual practice. Your ruler Jupiter is also traveling through Leo near the South Node, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your third house of communication. You may recognize how strongly you’ve held onto an opinion about someone or something, especially if an earlier experience left you disappointed. Sagittarius has a wonderful appetite for truth, although sometimes greater understanding arrives when we become curious about another person’s version of events. The fading Mystic Rectangle offers an opportunity to revisit an old disagreement with fresh perspective. You might discover that two people can remember the same experience quite differently while each carries a genuine piece of the story.

The developing connections among Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries bring exciting possibilities for your relationships, communication, and creative life. Uranus in your seventh house may introduce unexpected developments in a partnership, perhaps through someone whose interests or lifestyle differ considerably from your own. Pluto in your third house continues transforming the way you communicate, while Saturn and Neptune in your fifth house invite you to give greater attention to creative expression, romance, and the pleasures that make life meaningful. Perhaps you’ve been wanting to write a book, develop a course, or return to an artistic interest that once brought you tremendous happiness. You may also find that a partner or friend has begun pursuing something unfamiliar, giving you an opportunity to learn alongside them. Your enthusiasm can become a remarkable source of encouragement when you make room for someone else’s discoveries.

Friday brings a change of direction as Mercury stations direct in Scorpio and your twelfth house, while Venus stations direct in Libra and your eleventh. Something you’ve been processing privately may begin to make sense, or a friendship that has felt uncertain could find its way toward greater understanding. Perhaps you’re finally ready to reconnect with someone, reconsider your involvement in a group, or speak about an experience that has changed your beliefs. Allow these developments to unfold gradually as both planets gather speed. Sagittarius, your natural faith in life’s possibilities is one of your greatest gifts, and the return of Venus as the Morning Star offers a beautiful image of renewed hope. Some of the wisdom we gather along the way comes from discovering how much we still have to learn. There are new journeys ahead, and the understanding you’ve gained may make them richer than you ever imagined.

IRL Tip:
Reach out to an old friend or revisit a learning opportunity that once inspired you. Give yourself some quiet time to consider what you hope to gain from the experience.

Self-Care Theme:
Finding renewal through reflection, curiosity, and friendships that encourage your growth.

Kind Deed:
Share a meaningful book, story, or piece of wisdom with someone who may benefit from it. Invite them to share what they’ve learned along their own journey.

Your IRL Week:
Capricorn, you’re accustomed to being the person others can count on. When something needs organizing, financing, repairing, or simply getting done, there’s a good chance someone has your number on speed dial. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your eleventh house of friendship, community, and future aspirations, inviting you to consider the people with whom you’re building your life. Perhaps you’ve been supporting an organization that no longer feels quite right, carrying more than your share of a group project, or wondering why a friendship has become so one-sided. With Mercury retracing his steps through Scorpio, an old conversation or unexpected message may bring a different perspective. This New Moon offers an opportunity to cultivate relationships in which generosity and responsibility flow in both directions. You’ve spent years building a life, Capricorn. Who do you want sharing it with you?

Venus in Libra occupies your tenth house of career and reputation, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your eighth house of shared resources on Tuesday. An old professional contact might reach out, a business partner could propose an arrangement worth considering, or you may find a practical solution to a financial obligation that’s been weighing on you. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo have also been traveling through your eighth house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your second house of personal finances. You may recognize how readily you’ve stepped in to provide financial security for someone else, even when doing so has complicated your own plans. The fading Mystic Rectangle has been illuminating old expectations around achievement, approval, and belonging. Perhaps you’ve measured your worth by how much you can accomplish or how many people depend upon you. There’s considerable freedom in recognizing that love and respect can flourish through companionship, affection, and simply enjoying one another’s company.

Meanwhile, your ruler Saturn and Neptune in Aries occupy your fourth house of home and family, where the foundations of your life are undergoing a meaningful reassessment. Uranus in Gemini and your sixth house may be changing how you work and organize your days, while Pluto in Aquarius continues transforming your relationship with income and personal security. Perhaps you’re considering downsizing, renovating, changing your working arrangements, or making room for a family member whose circumstances have changed. You may also be discovering that a home you’ve worked so hard to create deserves more of your actual presence. These developing connections among fire and air offer opportunities to rethink familiar arrangements. A different work schedule, clearer financial boundaries, or a little help with household responsibilities could give you greater freedom to enjoy the life you’ve built.

Friday brings Mercury’s direct station in your eleventh house, followed by Venus turning direct in your tenth. A professional opportunity may begin moving forward, a delayed group decision could find resolution, or an old friendship may become easier to understand. Perhaps you’ve been waiting for someone to follow through on a commitment, or you’ve realized that a goal you established years ago deserves a fresh approach. Allow the details to settle as both planets gradually gather momentum. Capricorn, your extraordinary gift is the ability to create something lasting through patience and dedication. The return of Venus as the Morning Star offers a beautiful invitation to consider what makes all that effort worthwhile. A full calendar, a successful career, and a comfortable home can be wonderful accomplishments. The laughter around your table, the people who know your heart, and the freedom to enjoy your days may be the treasures you most want to cultivate now.

IRL Tip:
Revisit a professional or community commitment that has become demanding. Consider whether it still supports the life you want to create.

Self-Care Theme:
Allowing yourself to enjoy what you’ve built while welcoming greater support and companionship.

Kind Deed:
Reach out to someone who quietly carries responsibility for others. Offer to take something off their plate or invite them to an afternoon of simple enjoyment.

Your IRL Week:
Aquarius, you’ve always had a gift for seeing possibilities that other people overlook. Sometimes you’re already three steps into the future while everyone else is still discussing what happened yesterday. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your tenth house of career, public responsibilities, and the contribution you wish to make in the world. Perhaps you’ve been reconsidering your professional direction, feeling restless in a role you’ve occupied for years, or wondering whether an opportunity from your past deserves another look. Mercury’s journey through Scorpio may have brought unfinished conversations with a colleague, client, or former employer back to your attention. This New Moon invites you to consider what you want your work to mean at this stage of life. A successful career can take many forms, and your definition may be changing as you discover what matters most to you now.

Venus in Libra occupies your ninth house of travel, education, and spiritual understanding, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your seventh house of partnership on Tuesday. Perhaps someone you love suggests taking a trip together, an old acquaintance from another city reaches out, or a conversation with your partner opens the door to a shared adventure. Jupiter and the South Node have also been traveling through Leo and your seventh house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your first house. You may be recognizing how much of your life has been arranged around the needs, preferences, or expectations of someone else. Perhaps you’ve postponed a journey because your partner wasn’t interested, or you’ve been waiting for someone to share your enthusiasm for a subject you long to explore. The fading Mystic Rectangle has been bringing lessons about understanding and accepting differences. You can enjoy a devoted partnership while cultivating interests and friendships that belong entirely to you.

The developing connections among Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries are especially significant for your sign. Pluto in your first house is transforming your sense of identity, while Uranus, your modern ruler, is stirring new possibilities in your fifth house of romance, children, and creativity. Saturn, your traditional ruler, joins Neptune in your third house of communication, encouraging you to give form to ideas that may once have existed only in your imagination. Perhaps you’ve been thinking about writing a book, developing a course, exploring an artistic interest, or becoming involved in a community project. You may also be discovering how much you enjoy exchanging ideas with younger people whose perspectives challenge familiar assumptions. Aquarius, your originality becomes especially valuable when you find a way to share it that others can understand and use. An idea you’ve been quietly developing may deserve a more concrete place in your life.

Friday brings Mercury’s direct station in your tenth house and Venus’s in your ninth. A delayed professional conversation may begin moving forward, a decision about work could become clearer, or travel and educational plans may find a more definite direction. Perhaps a former colleague offers an opportunity, or someone close to you expresses greater enthusiasm for an idea you’ve been discussing. Give the situation time to develop before making a major commitment. With Venus now appearing as the Morning Star, her change of direction offers an image of renewed understanding. Aquarius, you’ve probably changed your mind about many things over the course of your life, and each new perspective has contributed to the person you’re becoming. This week invites you to bring some of that wisdom into the world through your work, relationships, and creative gifts. There’s something deeply satisfying about discovering that the future you’ve been imagining is beginning to find its way into ordinary life.

Giving your individuality room to flourish while cultivating meaningful companionship and shared experiences.

Kind Deed:
Encourage someone whose unconventional idea or creative interest has received little support. Your genuine curiosity could give them the confidence to pursue it.

Pisces (February 19-March 20) Weekly Horoscope: for Pisces & Pisces Rising

Your IRL Week:
Pisces, you have a way of finding meaning in experiences that other people might simply describe as coincidence. A song arrives at just the right moment, a dream lingers long after waking, or a conversation opens a door you hadn’t realized was there. Monday’s New Moon at 16°53? Scorpio falls in your ninth house of spiritual understanding, travel, education, and the beliefs that help you make sense of life. Perhaps you’ve been reconsidering something a teacher once told you, revisiting an experience that changed your faith, or feeling drawn toward a subject you’ve wanted to study for years. With Mercury retracing his steps through Scorpio, an old idea may suddenly carry a different meaning. You could return to a book you read long ago and discover that the words speak to the person you’ve become. This New Moon invites you to honor the wisdom gathered through your own experiences while remaining open to what you have yet to discover.

Venus in Libra occupies your eighth house of intimacy, shared finances, and emotional vulnerability, forming a sextile to Mars in Leo and your sixth house of work and daily responsibilities on Tuesday. A practical gesture of care could mean a great deal this week. Perhaps a partner offers to take over a responsibility you’ve been carrying, someone helps you resolve a financial concern, or a conversation about shared expenses brings a welcome sense of fairness. Jupiter, your traditional ruler, has been traveling with the South Node in Leo and your sixth house, opposite the North Node in Aquarius and your twelfth house of solitude and spiritual connection. You may recognize how often you’ve made yourself available to people who need help while setting aside your own need for quiet and restoration. The fading Mystic Rectangle has been offering lessons about love, self-worth, and forgiveness. Sometimes those lessons become most meaningful when we begin treating ourselves with the same tenderness we’ve extended to others.

The developing connections among Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries are bringing a profound reassessment of home, security, and your inner life. Uranus in your fourth house may introduce changes to your living arrangements or inspire you to create a home that better supports the person you’re becoming. Pluto in your twelfth house continues its long exploration of memory, dreams, and the deeper layers of your being, while Saturn and Neptune, your modern ruler, occupy your second house of money and personal values. Perhaps you’ve been thinking about simplifying your possessions, changing how you earn or spend money, or creating a space dedicated to meditation, writing, or spiritual practice. You may also be discovering that an old family expectation about success or security no longer reflects your understanding of a meaningful life. Pisces, you have a gift for sensing the sacred within ordinary experience. Giving that sensitivity a practical place in your days may become one of the most important ways you care for yourself.

Friday brings Mercury’s direct station in Scorpio and your ninth house, followed by Venus turning direct in Libra and your eighth. A plan involving travel, education, or a spiritual undertaking may begin moving forward, while a financial or emotional conversation could find greater clarity. Perhaps you’ve been waiting for information about a shared resource, or you’re finally ready to speak with someone about an experience that has affected your ability to trust. Allow these developments to unfold gradually. Venus has returned to the morning sky after her descent through the underworld, and her emergence carries a particularly moving symbolism for Pisces. We gather wisdom through loving, losing, forgiving, and discovering that our understanding of life continues to deepen. The experiences we’ve carried become part of the fertile soil from which new understanding grows. This week offers an opportunity to bring that wisdom into the choices you make, the people you cherish, and the quiet moments when you recognize how far you’ve traveled.

IRL Tip:
Return to a book, course, or spiritual practice that once inspired you. Give yourself an afternoon to explore what it means to you today.

Self-Care Theme:
Creating greater peace through spiritual nourishment, practical boundaries, and trust in your own developing wisdom.

Kind Deed:
Offer companionship to someone navigating grief or a difficult transition. A thoughtful meal, a quiet visit, or the willingness to listen can bring genuine comfort.
