Life Was Not Meant To Be a Struggle
My name is Anita Dalton and I have been the creator and owner of “The Center for the New Age” in Sedona, Arizona for the past eighteen years.
Until most recently, you have not heard much about me. I’m a better “behind the scenes person”. My main job is to help other people be successful. When I first came to Sedona 20 years ago, I met all these wonderful, amazing readers and healers. No one was making a living doing their Psychic work. They had jobs as waiters, dishwashers, and maids etc., just to be able to live here. When you are “psychic”, you are accessing a different part of your brain than most people. Sometimes that can make it difficult for you to do logical everyday tasks like marketing your own business, so “The Center for the New Age” does the business part of their job for them so they can stay in the space they need to be in to access their Psychic powers. The hardest part of my job is to convince some of them that life doesn’t have to be a struggle. Here is an open letter to them.
Dear people in my life who are struggling; I get frustrated that I cannot seem to communicate to you. How simple your life could be if you just got the “GOD” thing, especially when I see you struggling and hear you complaining. It’s because I love you one and all that I wish the best for you.
Wayne Dyer’s latest book WISHES FULFILLED explains it this way: “I AM THAT I AM.” You have all heard this before, but what does it mean to you? If you only learn one thing in this lifetime, PLEASE learn this — YOU ARE GOD. You have the power of creation. Your spirit created this planet, this body you’re playing in and this whole game. You create a well body or a sick body; it doesn’t just happen with age, although you create aging also. You create you being poor or rich. You are the writer, director and leading actor in your movie and the creator of the “drama” in it. When you have luck, you did it. When you have problems, you did it. No one did it to you. It’s your belief system and your mouth that is programming your guidance system. (or God/Goddess system). And yet, how many of you ask for one thing and create something else, simply because you won’t change your mind. If you changed your mind, then you could possibly change your speech.
No one else is in charge of the movie; you can say “CUT” and start over. When you believe that and take responsibility for it, then you can change it. You’ve created for yourself an amazing place to live and work and then don’t show up to collect your own created rewards. You allow yourself to get side tracked with people, places, and things and then blame them for not getting what you want. If you don’t have enough money, or time, or someone didn’t give you the respect or acknowledgement you deserve, it’s your fault. You got what you settled for; you let them treat you badly. And then you complained about it over and over so it keeps happening over and over because every time you give it energy, the tape plays again. It’s like hitting replay.
When you open your mouth and tell the universe “she did this to me,” she will. Every time you say, “I can’t have this,” you can’t. Every time you say, “I don’t have enough money,” you won’t. It’s that simple. It’s no big secret; it is the law of creation. When you are so busy focusing on the problem, or your last creation, the energy of that is creating it again. Why do you create the same people in your life? Because they are the only kind you know.
“Fake it till you make it” doesn’t mean being fake. It just means to act like it happened differently. You are neither poor nor broke. You are neither an alcoholic nor an orphan. You are not too fat or too skinny. You are neither lazy nor depressed.
So how do the people who are not these things act? Do they act differently from you? Do they spend differently, do they love differently, and do they eat differently? Then fantasize yourself thin: I did it. I weighed 365 lbs. For years I worried about how fat I was getting. I told the universe there was something wrong with my genes and it said OK. I told it I hardly ate anything and still got fat. It said OK. I told it it was OK to be fat because I was Psychic and it said OK. No doctor or diet could help me; I tried them all.
And then I asked Holy Spirit to let me see this differently and it said OK. It was like a switch flipped in my head and I just changed the way I thought about everything. My relationship with food changed. My relationship with exercise changed. I would walk on the treadmill at the gym repeating over and over, “I weigh 145, I weigh 145.” And guess what? I do. I remember overhearing nurses at a fat clinic where people had by-pass surgery to lose weight. They said it was amazing how many people gained the weight back. I haven’t in twelve years. I’m still 145 lbs.
By changing you, you GOD can change our world. But it has to start with you. A life is a terrible thing to waste. You’ve heard people say it’s 2012, there is no more time. There is time and it’s NOW. Get the life you deserve today. Simply re-write the movie. Fantasize yourself thin, in love, rich, and spiritual, happy to exercise, loved and respected, valued as a friend. Then go shopping for all the things you’re going to need for the new life you’ve created. Don’t waste another minute settling for what you don’t have to settle. Change !
Spirit guided us to this special place which centuries earlier was used by ancient people as a ceremonial site. We were guided by Spirit to open the Center at this place which is now the heart of spirituality in Sedona.
