Yesterday I had an unusual request from my grandson. He wanted to go to a museum. Sedona is a small town, but there is an old apple orchard homestead that has been turned into the Sedona Heritage Museum. We went.
As we gazed at photos and antiques, I was taken back in time to my childhood and how different it was from my grandchildren’s life now. I pointed out to Ethan that if he lived back then he would have had candles on his Christmas tree and a handmade wooden train to play with. He looked at me with disbelief, “What!” No electronic computer toys. “Why?” Because we didn’t know what we didn’t know. The inventions we have now were off our radar screen.
When I was a young girl, women got married and had children. They had husbands who went to work to support them. The only jobs available for women were secretaries or hairdressers. College was not an option in my case. My father explained my brother would go to college and I would find a husband to support me. I was engaged in high school. That was the mentality,
So years later when I found myself a single mom with two children to support, I had to come up with a better idea. I got a job in sales, but I wasn’t a salesperson and didn’t have the confidence to even speak to most people. I had to take assertiveness training. Long story short, I sold real estate, cars, whatever I could think of to make a buck, with mediocre success. I did what I had to do with the information I had.
One day I asked a colleague for help. She took me to a metaphysical church, which would have been forbidden with my Catholic upbringing. That was the start of a quest that would change my life. The quest for the truth, I read all the books, did all the courses, listened to CD’s and became the world’s best timeshare salesperson. But something else happened along the way; I got something some call enlightenment. I had all the toys, the home on the golf course, the Cadillac in the garage. But it wasn’t enough. I knew there was more.
That’s when I left the comfort of my life as I knew it and found Sedona. Armed only with a belief that somehow I could make a difference in the world, I had no idea what I would do here. There wasn’t much happening in Sedona in those days. It was just a stopover to the Grand Canyon. The only jobs were in service industries. Timeshare was just beginning here and I could make a reasonable living in marketing.
I met some wonderful spiritual people, none of whom were making a living doing their spiritual work. They had jobs as waiters and hotel maids. By that time I had gone through my savings. Money was becoming an issue, but my faith and my desire to help people was greater than my desire to make money. Using the secret principals I learned over the years, I took a chance and with divine help, created the Miracle of The Center for the New Age. Our mission is to spread truth and enlightenment that will change the world we live in.
This success information works. I know firsthand. It changed my life with miracle after miracle. That’s why I’m sharing it with all of you, because I know in my heart it will change your life. It’s not about the money for me, it hasn’t been for the last twenty years and that’s when it became amazing. I want to share that secret with everyone I meet. Some will be ready and some won’t. I just have to share the truth as I know it and maybe it just might make a difference in someone else’s life. Maybe yours.
