To explain the energy of The Vortex, you really have to think outside the box. There are books that explain the Scientific explanations such as, the Ley lines of the earth cross and form a funnel of energy coming out of the earth. Rocks found at these spots seem to retain that energy.
Stones are a gift from the earth. They exist everywhere in Nature adding their color and beauty. They have a way of appealing to people and sometimes it feels like they’re saying “pic me up.” I watch my 18 month old grand daughter squeal with glee as she pics up rocks in my store and even in the parking lot.
Millions of years ago ago layers of sandstone and limestone were formed by a receding ocean. Iron oxide eventually covered the grains and in a natural process rust formed. These are the beautiful rocks that make up Sedona.
Spiritual energy flows like thermal wind currents. You can see how this swirling energy twists the tree trunks at the Vortex sites. Those of us who are sensitive to that energy will feel it more than others. That’s why Sedona attracts so many psychics and artists.
