Most people think getting a tarot reading is about a psychic foretelling your fortune. But that’s not really what Tarot is about. In fact they are not even meant to tell your future or fortune.
The most powerful source of information comes from within your own being. The Tarot aids in accessing information from one’s own higher self.
There are actually two different types of Tarot card readings: question readings and open readings.
In a question reading you are addressing a specific question. It’s not meant to answer yes or no questions. It also shouldn’t be used to help you make decisions. The way the question is stated it is very important. Your question should be focused, but not overly detailed. Rather than looking at one particular aspect of a problem, find a way to look at it differently. Stay neutral and don’t have a preconceived notion that your present opinion is necessarily the right one. Be sure your question is stated in a positive manner. Instead of asking why a particular event hasn’t happened, ask what you can do to make the event happen.
Open readings address the larger aspects of your life. They are usually done when you are entering into a new phase of your life. You can somewhat direct a general area which you would like to cover, such as your career or health. But that’s as specific as it gets.
So how do you choose a great tarot card reader without wasting your money?
Forget the free reading advertisement. Great readers don’t have to lure clients in with free readings. They are professionals and know their worth. Also use your own intuition this is personal. Check recommendations and previous Client’s testimonial experience. Find out exactly what you’re paying for and how long the reading will be. You can usually find this information on the Reader’s website. I personally would like to have at least my first reading in person.
Selecting a great reader is just like any other consumer experience. Shop around, do your due diligence, then ask your higher self to guide you to that person who has the perfect information for you.
