Jump start your day

It’s really feeling like autumn here in Arizona. The cold dark mornings can make it difficult to start your day. This is where a morning prayer to start your day can really come in handy.
I recently came across such a prayer. A reminder of all in our world that we are so grateful for. We still have basic human concerns and that’s why it’s so important to focus on the joy, love, and peace that are all around us if we just look for it.
Before you reach for your cell phone, your computer, or your mental list of tasks for the day, take a moment, breath and connect yourself to the unlimited power of the universe.
Before you jump out of bed, take a few breaths and recite this prayer.
Dear Holy Spirit, fill me with the power of the universe. Breathe my every breath. Guide my every action. Protect me so that I may be an example of unconditional love. Fill my life with joy, love, peace, and compassion. I go forth with a feeling of excitement and expectancy of only good and happiness. Thank you Holy Spirit, all of that is. I am at peace.
Remember the universe is responding to your entire request. Make this your best day ever. You are blessed and never alone.
