Mars in Libra is square Pluto in Capricorn (November 5 – November 14). Mars emphasizes all forms of action while Pluto represents the transformational powers of destiny. These two planets in the square position spell out the potential for trouble with regard to our actions. Actions against or conflicts with higher powers are likely to backfire – it is best not to bluff those of a higher or unanticipated authority at this time, as taking action in an attempt to create a transformation may be very dangerous. This may be a particularly difficult time to fight addiction, disease and war related stress – it is also the most crucial time not to give up the fight.
Saturn in Capricorn is sextile Neptune in Pisces (November 8 – December 5). This aspect makes one sensible about future plans and provides the ability to defer gratification. During this transit, one finds the patience to see a project through to the very end, no matter what obstacles fall in one’s path. Patience is probably one of its biggest gifts.
Mercury in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn (November 9 – November 12) brings an opportunity for us to get the message across to people in strong positions of power and authority. This is also an opportunistic time to reach out to those of another generation and make an attempt to communicate something vital.

Aries: If nothing makes sense right now, maybe it’s not meant to. Maybe you’re meant to feel an element of mystery or uncertainty about a situation. Sometimes it’s only by putting one foot in front of the other, without a clue where you’re going, that you can immerse yourself fully into something that leaves you richer and more well-rounded. If you need answers, try consulting a psychic, an astrologer or someone else who can shed some light for you. Remind yourself that life is a mystery to be lived.
Taurus: It’s time to fix your relationships – or one in particular. Mercury retrograding through your partnership zone brings the chance to right any wrongs and put more energy into your personal ties. Most relationship problems stem from poor communication, so now is the time to sit down, speak from the heart, and listen with your soul. Once you really hear the other person, it is much easier to understand where he or she is coming from and to offer forgiveness and compassion. Make some quality time for you and the other.
Gemini: Work and health are key themes now, and it’s likely that at least one of them needs your attention. Mercury’s backward motion makes this the perfect time to correct whatever is amiss. That could be getting a checkup and arranging a course of treatment or sorting out your paperwork and filing systems. This isn’t really a good time for starting anything new; it’s more a time to sort out lingering problems and deal with stuff that has been building up. Don’t expect your day-to-day life to flow very smoothly, but the more able you are to slow down, the easier things will be; you will be less likely to come up against problems, health or otherwise.
Cancer: Judy Garland advised, “Always be a first-rate version of yourself instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.” What is your best version? Scorpio: As Mercury travels backward through your sign, it’s understandable if you find it difficult to move forward in a straight line. Aquarius: Your purpose and direction in life are called into question as Mercury backtracks through this region. Now is the time to question whether you’re happy with your career and where you’re going with your life in general. Do you need to make a change? If so, now is the perfect time. It will serve you well not to follow your goals and ambitions blindly, especially if you come up against blocks or frustrations. Instead, take time to reflect on where you’re going, and make sure your career is working the way you want it to.
Pisces: Adventure is your theme, but it might not be as straightforward as you like. Travel, for instance, could be problematic, as are things you want to expand. Trying to push forward with a plan or a dream could be counterproductive, so a hitch or a delay might be a sign that you’re better off looking for experiences that allow you to simply be. Travel or journeys of a spiritual nature could work, but ultimately the universe is asking you to discover what feels meaningful and to follow that.
