Along the beaten path the essence of spring is returning. Flowers are blooming and fragrances are tickling your nose as you walk along. Most of the time, that is all we need to get our balance for the day. Sometimes, we need a little more affirmation.

On a SVET Tour of Kachina rock, our clients and I were discussing the magic behind calmly played wind instruments. Flutes in particular. We were mentioning great artists such as George Nakai, Tony Duncan, Joseph Firecrow, Charles Littleleaf and many others. As we were meandering down the pathway, we agreed that hearing such an artist on a day like today would seal the deal for them.

No more than 10 seconds later, we turn the corner towards the ascension of the Kachina trail when my friend Robert arrives after his afternoon session concluded atop Warrior Rock (the masculine vortex center found at Kachina). With my head shaking and laughing out loud, I introduce him to my clients and he graciously performs his song of love and provides them each with a ‘heart of Sedona’ and a hug.

I have had other such events take place as I journey with my clients and as I tell them, it isn’t an accident or a coincidence. Our thoughts and dreams were sent out and answered with affirmation in the guise of a flutist.
