In the weeks to come, we are going to compare the thoughts, habits and philosophies of the middle class to that of the wealthy class. The differences are extreme. The strategy is simple. Learn to think like a rich person, copy them, hang out with them, then take action and get rich. Sound too simple? Well it actually is that simple. In his book, Think And Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill interviewed hundreds of millionaire to get their secrets. Over the years, hundreds of books have been written on the subject. Surprisingly enough, some of the authors writing these books never get rich. Why, because they are just regurgitating what someone else says, without living it themselves. If you haven’t lived it, you don’t know it. You can copy me, you just can’t be me until your willing to change. My plan is to challenge every belief you ever had about money. But beware, if you start thinking about money differently, you just might get rich.
Do you dream about someday winning the lottery? People who love the lottery believe it’s their only chance to get rich. Yet statistics show that most lottery winners are broke again in a very short time. Why? It’s because they never break the mold cast in childhood telling them only crooks and lucky people get rich. Because they don’t have faith in their own ability, their beliefs about money limit their financial success. The rich have empowering beliefs about money and their daily actions is the foundation of their success. The wealthy know the only way to financial success is to take action. It’s all about cause and effect. Beliefs dictate behavior, and behavior changes results.
If you want to get rich, get in touch with your beliefs about money. I know people who are afraid if they have money, they will have to pay too much income tax. That is such wrong thinking. Rich people pay less taxes than the middle class. Then there are those who are afraid if they have money, other people will want it. So the drive junk cars to appear poor. Oh and I love the belief that money is the root of all evil. The rich believe that poverty is the root of all evil. They support the less fortunate. Whatever your beliefs are about money. Take some time right now and write down what those beliefs are and then ask yourself if they are really true. Billy Graham once said, “If a man gets his attitude toward money straight, it will help straighten out almost every other area of his life”
The question is: Do you believe you have the potential to earn as much money as you wish? If, not, why not? If so, do your actions support your belief? Decide now, how much money is enough for you. Identify your number. Now ask The Universe to support you in your plan and when the inspiration shows up, take action. Just reading this article is a step in the right direction.
